VUSTA holds working sessions with the VinFuture Foundation
On the afternoon of August 3, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), representatives of VUSTA held a working session with representatives of the VinFuture Foundation (Vingroup) to exchange views and engage in in-depth discussions on the potential and opportunities for cooperation between the two organizations.
Representing VUSTA were Mr. Nguyen Quyet Chien - Secretary General, together with representatives of the Union’s specialized departments. Representing the VinFuture Foundation were Dr. Pham Van Luan - Senior Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Chien - Scientific Secretary and Dr. Pham Thi Thu Phuong.

Overview of the working session
During the meeting, the two sides presented overviews of their respective functions, mandates, and strategic priorities. Through their discussions, both parties identified a number of fundamental commonalities, particularly their shared mission of honoring scientists, recognizing intellectual contributions to social development, and promoting the research, application, and dissemination of scientific and technological achievements for the benefit of communities and society.

Building on these shared priorities, VUSTA introduced several preliminary proposals for potential cooperation in STEM education, applied scientific research, science and technology communication, and the organization of international events and forums. Recognizing the strong potential for broader cooperation, representatives of both organizations agreed to maintain close communication, report the proposals to the competent authorities, and work toward the signing of a framework cooperation agreement as a basis for implementing specific collaborative initiatives in the coming period.
