On the morning of December 26 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) held a conference to review the 2025 activities of its affiliated science and technology organizations.

From December 3 - 7, the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF 2025) was organized in the capital city of Seoul, South Korea.

On December 7, in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, the Lancang - Mekong Engineers Forum 2025 was held under the theme “Green Engineering and Sustainable Development”. The Vietnamese delegation, led by Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), attended the Forum.

On the morning of December 4, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) organized a workshop to disseminate legal documents to its member associations, provincial unions, and science and technology organizations. This is an annual activity aimed at updating information and providing professional guidance for units across the VUSTA system.

On December 16, at the Headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology (VUSTA), Vice President of VUSTA Pham Ngoc Linh hosted a reception and a working session with the Guangdong Association for Science and Technology (GDAST).

On December 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, VUSTA, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Quality Certification and Enterprise Development, and Vira Group Joint Stock Company, organized the scientific workshop “Solutions to Promote the Application of AI in Energy Managemenand Efficient Energy Use to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions.”

A delegation from the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), led by Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh, conducted a working visit to the science and technology organizations in Japan from November 17 to 19. The visit aimed to strengthen experience-sharing and expand opportunities for cooperation in science and technology.

In the evening of November 13th, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Vice President of VUSTA Pham Ngoc Linh hosted a working session with the Delegation of the China Association for Science and Technology, led by Mrs. Ni Zhiyu, Head of the Department of Science Popularization, the China Association for Science and Technology.

October 2, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) held a working session with the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations.

October 9th, VUSTA organised the workshop “Solutions for Building and Developing the Science and Technology Bookshelf”.

The community of scientific and technological intellectuals has always played a pioneering role in social supervision and critique, contributing to the refinement of laws and policies and promoting their effective implementation. With intellect, creativity, and responsibility, VUSTA members continue to make active and constructive contributions on key national issues.

On September 23th morning, local time, at the Headquaters of the United Nations in New York, America, the High-level General Debate of 80th Session of the United Nations (UN) was opened.

On September 6th, training course on prevention and fight against African swine fever and lumpy skin disease in buffaloes and cows was organized under the cooperation between the Quang Tri Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Quang Tri Veterinary Association.

September 25th the scientific conference themed “Current situation of supporting and attracting labour forces from other provinces to meet the requirements of the industrial development of Bac Ninh province” was organized.

As part of the seminar series under the AFEO Midterm 2025 Conference in Da Nang, jointly organized by AFEO and VUSTA, the seminar “Smart Cities - Towards Enhancing Quality of Life” identified three key goals for building smart cities across ASEAN.

September 18th, Moc Chau, the Center for Research on Community Development Initiatives (RIC) held a final review for the project "Improving living conditions for ethnic minority communities" in Son La province.

On September 20, Vinh Long Union Associations hosted the international conference on machinery, energy, and digitalization for sustainable development (IMEDS 2025).

September 4, Thanh Hoa Union of Associations hosted a consultation seminar to review the proposal “Developing training program for human resources in semiconductor industry to serve socio-economic development of the province to 2030, with the vision to 2045”
