This activity aims to help bring the Resolution of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) for the 2026-2031 term into practice across the entire system, starting with international cooperation.
On June 30 in Yangon, Myanmar, the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) officially opened the plenary session of its 25th Midterm Conference. Held annually, the conference serves as a regional forum where scientists, engineers, and experts come together to exchange knowledge and discuss solutions for building a more sustainable future for ASEAN.
January 5, a working session between Vietnamese and American experts on artificial intelligence world society in the digital era in Vietnam was organized by VUSTA.
On December 7, in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, the Lancang - Mekong Engineers Forum 2025 was held under the theme “Green Engineering and Sustainable Development”. The Vietnamese delegation, led by Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), attended the Forum.
On December 16, at the Headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology (VUSTA), Vice President of VUSTA Pham Ngoc Linh hosted a reception and a working session with the Guangdong Association for Science and Technology (GDAST).
On December 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, VUSTA, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Quality Certification and Enterprise Development, and Vira Group Joint Stock Company, organized the scientific workshop “Solutions to Promote the Application of AI in Energy Managemenand Efficient Energy Use to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions.”
A delegation from the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), led by Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh, conducted a working visit to the science and technology organizations in Japan from November 17 to 19. The visit aimed to strengthen experience-sharing and expand opportunities for cooperation in science and technology.

As part of the seminar series under the AFEO Midterm 2025 Conference in Da Nang, jointly organized by AFEO and VUSTA, the seminar “Smart Cities - Towards Enhancing Quality of Life” identified three key goals for building smart cities across ASEAN.
On August 7, at the headquarters of the Da Nang Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) met with a delegation from the Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST). The meeting was held as part of the 24th Mid-Term Meeting of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO), which was hosted by VUSTA.
The 33rd FEIAP General Assembly convened hundreds of engineers, scientists, experts, entrepreneurs, and managers from member economies across the Asia–Pacific region. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of a representative of the Royal Family of Thailand, who delivered an important keynote address.
On August 06, in Da Nang City, the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization (AFEO) officially opened the plenary session of the 24th AFEO Midterm Conference. The conference is a forum for scientists, engineers, and specialists to share, discuss solutions for structuring a sustainable future for the ASEAN region.
On the morning of April 29, 2025, VUSTA in coordination with the Hai Phong City Union of Science and Technology Associations, held a scientific workshop titled "Advancing the Registration of ASEAN Professional Engineers in Vietnam". The event was co-chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Ngoc Linh, Vice President of VUSTA, and Dr. Bui Thanh Tung, President of the Hai Phong City Union.

On May 30, at the headquarter of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Dr.Sc. Phan Xuan Dung, President of VUSTA, had a meeting with Mr. Mohsen Rezaeipour, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Iran in Vietnam about technology transfer and cooperation in high-technology.
March 2025, VUSTA has approved the project Sustainable and nutritious school food pilot program, phase 2, 2025-2026 (abbreviated as the School Nutritious Food Program).
The project "Protecting Children in Especially Difficult Circumstances in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City." is implemented by the Center for Capacity Building, Support for Women and Children.
