VUSTA Receives 2024 Emulation Flag from Commission for External Relations
On January 6, the CPV Central Commission for External Relations held a conference to review people-to-people diplomacy work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. Le Hoai Trung, Party Central Committee Secretary and Head of the Party Central Commission for External Relations, chaired the conference.

Speaking at the conference, VUSTA Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation with international science and technology organizations to serve the country's green development and sustainable development goals.
According to Dr. Linh, in the context of globalization and the fluctuations in the global situation, implementing the Party’s foreign policy of "multilateralization and diversification" is essential. This strategic task aims to leverage opportunities, strengthen our position, and enhance the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy.
As an official member of the International Science Council (ISC), the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO), an observer of the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and Pacific (FEIAP), and the World Organization for Science Literacy (WOSL), VUSTA has actively contributed to international cooperation mechanisms. This includes significant contributions in the fields of science, engineering, and technology, while also fostering connections with Vietnamese scientific and technological experts abroad. VUSTA has played a vital role in the socio-economic development of the country.

In the coming period, VUSTA will continue to enhance its leadership and management. We will thoroughly study the foreign policy of the Party and the State, promote scientific diplomacy, and improve the effectiveness of international cooperation in science, technology, and innovation. Additionally, we will apply digital transformation to enhance the management efficiency of our member associations. Furthermore, we will closely coordinate with ministries and branches to ensure consistency and effectiveness in implementing people-to-people diplomacy activities - Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh said.
At the conference, VUSTA was honored to receive the Emulation Flag for being the leading organization in the field of collaborative development in 2024. Vusta's Vice President, Pham Ngoc Linh, was awarded the Commemorative Medal "For the People-to-people Diplomacy." Additionally, Vusta's Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, received a Certificate of Merit for her outstanding achievements in people-to-people diplomacy in 2024.
