VUSTA leadership meets Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland in Vietnam

On October 9, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Ngoc Linh, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), met with Mr. Aldo de Luca, Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland in Vietnam at VUSTA headquarters.

During the meeting, Mr. Aldo de Luca shared key information about Switzerland's scientific and innovation activities, as well as the Swiss Embassy’s priority tasks in Vietnam. He also discussed a collaboration project between the Swiss Embassy and GreenHub, a non-governmental scientific and technological organization under VUSTA, focusing on reducing waste and protecting the environment for secondary school students.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Linh shared with Deputy Ambassador the organizational model, mission, and functions of VUSTA, as well as VUSTA's notable activities in recent years. He acknowledged and appreciated the support and cooperation provided by the Swiss Embassy to affiliated organizations under VUSTA. VUSTA remains support and guide its affiliated organizations in implementing collaborative projects effectively, in compliance with relevant Vietnamese Government regulations.

At the end of the meeting, both parties discussed potential cooperation opportunities between VUSTA and its member organizations, as well as the Swiss Embassy, particularly in the field of disseminating scientific knowledge, contributing to the shared development of both.
