VUSTA - Korea CEO Summit Meeting

Hanoi, February 3, 2025 - At VUSTA headquarters, Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh met with Mr. Park Bong Kyu, Chairman of Korea CEO Summit (KCS). The two parties discussed potential cooperation for CICON 2025.

At the meeting, Mr. Park Bong Kyu introduced KCS and proposed to VUSTA the cooperation to organize CICON 2025. He highly appreciated VUSTA's role in gathering Vietnamese scientists and engineers, while promoting scientific research and technology application into practice.

CICON is an annual international conference that was first held in Seoul, South Korea, in 2012. Since then, it has taken place in various major cities around the world. Most recently, CICON 2023 was held in Ho Chi Minh City, representing a significant step in strengthening cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea in urban development. The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of information and experiences in urbanization, culture, and integration.

Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh expressed interest in KCS's proposal and appreciated its role in initiating and organizing CICON. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the context of globalization and believed that this collaboration would significantly contribute to the successful organization of CICON 2025.
