President Phan Xuan Dung met up with the Commercial Counselor of the Iranian Embassy

On March 17, at the headquarter of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Dr.Sc. Phan Xuan Dung, President of VUSTA, had a meeting with Mr. Mohsen Rezaeipour, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Iran in Vietnam.

Overview of the meeting

At the meeting, Mr Mohsen Rezaeipour shared the achievements of Iran in science, technology, and economy development and discussed the cooperation programs and activities of the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam in recent times. President Phan Xuan Dung also shared the mission, functions, and organizational structure of VUSTA with the Embassy delegation in Vietnam.

The two sides discussed the possibilities and opportunities for cooperation in the near future, such as coordinating the organization of cooperation forums on science, technology, and economy between science and technology organizations and enterprises of the two countries; strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. On the occasion of the Iranian New Year (March 20 annualy), President Phan Xuan Dung also sent his best wishes to the colleagues of the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam and the people of Iran.
