From April 17th to April 19th 2026, the Vietnam Union for Science and Technology Associations organized a Monitoring Team to monitor activities operated by the Live & Learn Center (Live & Learn).
On 7th April, in Lao Cai, the delegation from Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations attended the conference launching the project titled “Supporting the improvement of quality of life and job creation for youth from ethnic minority communities in mountainous areas of Lao Cai Province”, implemented by the Center for Sustainable Development Support for Ethnic Minority Communities.
On the afternoon of March 25, Prof. Academician Chau Van Minh – Member of the 16th National Assembly and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) led a delegation on a working visit to the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations (VIFOTEC), where he met with its leadership and staff.
On March 20, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) paid a visit and participated in a scientific exchange at the Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC), under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. This meaningful activity aimed to strengthen connections between VUSTA’s experts and intellectuals and one of the country’s leading high-tech research institutions.
On March 10th 2026, in Hanoi, the French Embassy in Vietnam held a ceremony to confer the rank of Knight of the National Order of Merit on Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh, Executive Director of SCDI center - a Science and Technology organization affiliated with VUSTA. Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh attended the ceremony and presented flowers to extend congratulations to Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh.
With nearly 500 research publications and recognition from numerous prestigious international organizations, Prof. Academician Chau Van Minh has contributed to connecting Vietnamese science with the world and elevating its global standing.
On January 24 - 25, the People’s Committee of Van Ho Commune, Son La Province organized the festival “A joyful and greener new spring” at the Lung Xa – Ta De village sports ground (Van Ho Commune, Son La Province). The event featured a range of vibrant community-based cultural and sporting activities welcoming the New Year of the local Mong ethnic community.
January 5, a working session between Vietnamese and American experts on artificial intelligence world society in the digital era in Vietnam was organized by VUSTA.
On the morning of December 26 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) held a conference to review the 2025 activities of its affiliated science and technology organizations.
On December 7, in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, the Lancang - Mekong Engineers Forum 2025 was held under the theme “Green Engineering and Sustainable Development”. The Vietnamese delegation, led by Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), attended the Forum.
On the morning of December 4, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) organized a workshop to disseminate legal documents to its member associations, provincial unions, and science and technology organizations. This is an annual activity aimed at updating information and providing professional guidance for units across the VUSTA system.
On December 16, at the Headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology (VUSTA), Vice President of VUSTA Pham Ngoc Linh hosted a reception and a working session with the Guangdong Association for Science and Technology (GDAST).
On December 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, VUSTA, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Quality Certification and Enterprise Development, and Vira Group Joint Stock Company, organized the scientific workshop “Solutions to Promote the Application of AI in Energy Managemenand Efficient Energy Use to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions.”
A delegation from the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), led by Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh, conducted a working visit to the science and technology organizations in Japan from November 17 to 19. The visit aimed to strengthen experience-sharing and expand opportunities for cooperation in science and technology.
In the evening of November 13th, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Vice President of VUSTA Pham Ngoc Linh hosted a working session with the Delegation of the China Association for Science and Technology, led by Mrs. Ni Zhiyu, Head of the Department of Science Popularization, the China Association for Science and Technology.
