VUSTA Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh congratulates Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh on receiving French National Order of Merit

On March 10th 2026, in Hanoi, the French Embassy in Vietnam held a ceremony to confer the rank of Knight of the National Order of Merit on Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh, Executive Director of SCDI center - a Science and Technology organization affiliated with VUSTA. Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh attended the ceremony and presented flowers to extend congratulations to Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the President of the France, French Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam Olivier Brochet conferred the rank of Knight of the National Order of Merit on Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh, Executive Director of the Center for Supporting Community Development Initiatives (SCDI). The National Order of Merit is one of the prestigious decorations of the French Republic, established in 1963 by President Charles de Gaulle, and is awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in a wide range of fields around the world.

This honor represents the recognition of the French Republic for Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh’s sustained contributions and dedicated efforts in the fields of community health care, HIV/AIDS prevention and control, and the promotion of social inclusion for vulnerable populations in Vietnam. At the ceremony, Mrs. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh expressed her honor at receiving the order and conveyed her sincere thanks to governing body, VUSTA, as well as to her colleagues, domestic and international partners.

Promoting the application of AI in Energy Management - the key solution for reducing green house gas emission
