After 3 decades of establishment and development, the Vietnam Fund for Technical Innovation Support (VIFOTEC) and personally the Standing Vice Chairman of the Sponsoring Council of VIFOTEC Fund Le Xuan Thao was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal.

Engineer Nguyen Van Hoa and his partners at Thai Hoa Industrial Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Company, Ltd (Trung An Commune, My Tho City) invented the Coconut Milk Powder production line.

This is an innovative solution made by MSc. Vo Le Ngoc Tram, a teacher at Xuan Dieu Secondary School (My Tho City) and his partners. The work was awarded the Encouragement Prize of the XIV Tien Giang Provincial Technical Innovation Contest (2020 - 2021) for meeting the criteria of novelty, creativity and applicability.

On October 13, 2022, Dak Lak Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (Dak Lak Union) in collaboration with The Vietnam’s Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) organized a scientific workshop "Identifying tasks of the Party and the State assigned to VUSTA at the central and local levels”.

Established in March 2013, the Institute of Policy, Law and Management (affiliated to The Vietnam’s Union of Science and Technology Associations - VUSTA) is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary of establishment and development.

In the morning of October 7, Gia Lai Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations collaborated with the Standing Board of Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union to organize a Conference on "Skills training on start-up connectivity and business development" - Reporter of the Young Creators Group.

On October 21, in Hanoi, The Vietnam’s Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) organized a workshop to improve knowledge on environmental protection for its member associations.

At the invitation of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), a delegation of The Vietnam’s Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) visited the Federal Republic of Germany from 4th July to 9th July 2022 to study the sustainable energy transition program.

On October 11, 2022, in Thanh Hoa, The Union of Science and Technology Associations of Thanh Hoa (Thanh Hoa Union of Associations) held a questioning workshop on “Plan on development of organic agriculture in Thanh Hoa province in the period 2022 - 2030”.

Ha Tinh Union of Science and Technology Associations (Ha Tinh Union) held an on-shore monitoring and evaluation on outcomes of the first large-scale commercial sturgeon farming model in the province, which has been implemented on the bed of the Ngan Truoi hydropower reservoir (Vu Quang district). Initial findings show an effective economic impact.

In the morning of August 5th, in Hanoi, the Vietnam’s Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) organized a workshop on the Draft National Master Planning for the 2021-2030 period, vision to 2050.

The Good Books Awards 2022, held in Ho Chi Minh City in the morning of September 18, by the IRED Institute, the Good Books Reading Promotion Project and the OpenEdu Initiative, honored 14 outstanding works in 7 categories including: Research, Education, Economics, Administration, Literature, Children and New Discoveries. 02 out of 14 honored works are published by Knowledge Publishing House.
