Gia Lai: Training on Applying Artificial Intelligence in the workplace

On May 21st, the Gia Lai Union of Science and Technology Associations (the Union) coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Computer Association and the Vietnam AI Capacity Development Alliance to conduct training on applying artificial intelligence in the workplace at Pleiku Palace (Pleiku City).

More than 100 participants attended the training session, including members of the Union’s Executive Committee and its member associations, representatives from provincial Party agencies, and delegates from various organizations. The training aimed to equip learners with knowledge and skills to use AI tools, particularly the advanced ChatGPT to enhance work efficiency and productivity.

Mr. Phi Anh Tuan, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh Computer Association (HCA), presented an overview of popular AI technologies and demonstrated how to apply ChatGPT in the workplace. He emphasized features supporting document drafting, report generation, rapid information processing, and decision-making, helping participants better understand AI’s potential to improve work efficiency.

Mr. Lieu Hung Tien, President of the Vietnam AI Capacity Development Alliance, continued with detailed guidance on using several prominent AI tools, including ChatGPT, Gamma, Perplexity, and Whimsical. Specifically, ChatGPT supports content creation and information retrieval; Gamma is used for designing professional presentation slides; Perplexity enables intelligent searching; and Whimsical aids in building mind maps and visual workflows. Thanks to this guidance, participants can flexibly apply these AI tools in administrative and management tasks.

The training concluded successfully, contributing to enhancing AI application skills, promoting digital transformation, and improving work efficiency for the staff and members of the provincial Union.
