On April 27-28, 2010, the 6th National Congress of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (2010-2015 term) was solemnly held in Hanoi.

With a comprehensive national renovation policy, starting with economy thinking, the 6th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam opened a new period of development for the country.

Toward 40th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (26th March 1983 - 26th March 2023), VUSTA would publish a series of articles named: Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) through Congresses.

The conference on “Implementation of laws and policies on energy development in the 2016 and 2021 period” was organized in the morning of March 6 in Hanoi.

1. The ceremony "Honoring typical scientific and technological intellectuals in 2022"

On December 26, 2022, at the Headquarters of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Science and Technology Journalists Club announced the results of the poll of 10 outstanding science and technology events in 2022.

On December 9 in Hanoi, thanks to approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam Union of Associations and authorities, the Institute for Research and Application of Human Potential organized the first international scientific conference on special human abilities with the participation of nearly 300 domestic and foreign delegates.

On November 30, 2022, in Hue city, Thua Thien Hue provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with the Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy organized the national scientific conference with the topic "Update on Post-Covid issues and Covid-19 Vaccination".

The 40th Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO 40) will be held at Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 5th – 10th December 2022.

Within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam, United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. António Guterres had a meeting and talked with Vietnamese youth and students
