Dr. Phan Xuan Dung, Secretary of the Party Union, member of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) led a delegation to attend the 21st Midterm Review Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AM-21).

On September 13, 2022, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations of Binh Thuan (the Provincial Union) held a meeting to approve the draft questioning report on the Project titled "Master Plan on building Mui Ne as a National Tourist Destination, Binh Thuan by 2040, vision to 2050”.

This is the creation of Le Cong Danh and Nguyen Tran Thuc Quyen - 9th grade students, Lien Viet Kon Tum Lower and Higher Secondary School. This product set won the second prize of the 14th Provincial Youth and Children's Creative Contest in 2022, and was selected to participate in the 18th National Youth and Children's Creative Contest in 202 -2022.

World Bank has announced the report “Toward a National Single-use Plastics Roadmap in Vietnam - Strategic Options for Reducing Priority Single-use Plastics”. Reviewers from the Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub), a scientific technological organization under VUSTA, has contributed to the report.

On August 23, 2022, Son La Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Son La Coffee Association held a workshop on "Current situation and solutions to protect the environment in coffee processing in Son La province".

On May 30, 2022, Yen Bai Center for Science Technology Development and Community Health Care (YENBAI CDSH) organized a workshop to kick off the project "Promoting the realization of reproductive health rights and raising awareness on child rights of ethnic minorities in Yen Bai province" (hereinafter referred to as the Project).

Son La – May 16 and 17, 2022, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Son La province (Son La Union) held a consultation workshop on the amended Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence and the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.

The Government Office has just issued Document 231/TB-VPCP announcing the conclusion of the third working session of the National Steering Committee on implementation of the Vietnam's commitments at COP26.

On July 7, 2022, a national scientific conference titled "Solutions to turn To Lich River into a historical - cultural - spiritual park (Vietnam - Japan Friendship Park) and building cultural institutions, anti-flooding underground system combined with underground highway along To Lich river" was held in Hanoi.

On August 24, the Economic, Environmental Science and Climate Change Division (under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations) held a meeting with its member associations. Representatives of member associations contributed to the development of the Division's emulation plan.

July 27, 2022: The Organizing Committee of Technical Innovation Contests of Phu Tho province held an opening ceremony of the final round of the Provincial Creativeness Contest for Adolescents and Children in 2022.

July 29, 2022: at the Medical Center of Nghia Lo town, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Yen Bai province in collaboration with the Traditional Medicine Association of Yen Bai province held a workshop on "Developing medicinal materials for the local socio-economic development”.
