Prof. Dr. Sc. People's Teacher Vu Minh Giang - Chairman of the Science and Training Council of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Historical Sciences, was the keynote speaker

The conference was attended by the Standing Committee, offices, and departments of the Union; members of the Executive Committee of the Union; chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of member associations; leaders of affiliated centers; and leaders and members of the Ham Rong Club.

The attendees listened to Prof. Vu Minh Giang's overview of the concepts and significance of history and culture in human development. He analyzed the historical and cultural characteristics of Thanh Hoa, highlighting its rich history with significant contributions to the nation's history (such as the Dong Son culture, the Lam Son uprising, the Ho Dynasty Citadel, and the victory at Ham Rong Bridge). Thanh Hoa was presented as a unique cultural space (a land of extraordinary people, a system of heritage sites and scenic spots, and intangible cultural heritage). He also discussed the crucial collaboration between three key groups: managers, experts, and investors, to effectively harness cultural resources for national development.

The speaker also offered several suggestions for Thanh Hoa Province to leverage its historical and cultural strengths, such as: recreating the construction process of the Ho Dynasty Citadel with 3D panorama paintings; establishing a live performance stage at Tu Thuc Cave to depict legendary tales; enhancing the appeal of the Le Dynasty Ancestral Temple through historical storytelling; and recreating the cultural space in the ancient Dong Son village;

The thematic talk provided an opportunity for members of the Union and the Ham Rong Club to meet and interact, helping members update their knowledge of the current cultural, political, and social issues of the country and the world./.
