Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Science and Education Department Director Do Trung Hieu led the department’s visit to VUSTA on Vietnam Science & Technology Day (May 18).

During the visit, Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Science and Education Department Director Do Trung Hieu emphasized VUSTA's positive contributions to socio-economic development, hoping that VUSTA will continue to promote intellectual development as well as integrate the application of science and technology into production life. Dir. Hieu wished to further strengthen the close relationship between VUSTA and Nhan Dan Newspaper, to jointly propagate and disseminate scientific and technological achievements, and to raise public awareness of the role science and technology in promoting industrialization and modernization in Vietnam.

In response to Nhan Dan’s enthusiasm, Secretary General Nguyen Quyet Chien, on behalf of the VUSTA’s Leadership, thanked the Newspaper for its attention and affection for VUSTA. Sec. Chien additionally provided preliminary information on some of VUSTA’s recent activities, all of which have remarkable developments and contributed significantly to spreading knowledge and social consultancy and evaluation as well as to the process of making science and technology development policies. 30 enterprises and localities recognized as Top Industry 4.0 in Vietnam 2024

Green Forest Program to launch in 2024
To celebrate World Environment Day (June 5th), VUSTA and the Center for People and Nature (PanNature) coordinated with the local authority to hold a launching ceremony for the 2024 Green Forest Program on the morning of June 2nd (2024). The program aims to restore 10 hectares of forest in Van Ho (Son La) and 15 in Hang Kia - Pa Co Nature Reserve.
