Vietnam Integration Journal receives DOI

In May 2024, the Vietnam Integration Journal (under the Institute of Policy, Law, and Management - VUSTA) was licensed by Crossref organization with Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

DOI is considered a permalink for a file on the Internet. Each DOI is associated with only one file. Suppose the web address of the file changes, users accessing via DOI will be automatically redirected to the new address. Research projects with DOI enable users to search, cite, link, and evaluate them.

Successfully registering a DOI is a significant achievement for the editorial board in establishing and developing a Vietnam scientific media agency associated with innovation and international integration. This success marks a major milestone for the journal as it seeks to integrate with the international academic community and enhance its position. In the near future, the Vietnamese Integration Journal will take appropriate and scientific steps to quickly gain acceptance into reputable citation systems in the region and the world.

The Vietnam Integration Journal has established the presentation format for the DOI code as follows: The DOI code should be in uppercase, centered, and bold, and placed at the top left corner of page 1 of the article. It should contain the following components: 10.62829 (a fixed code identifying the Vietnam Integration Journal), a slash, the journal name, the issue number, and the starting page and ending page of the article. For example, 10.62829/VNHN.340.3.17 indicates that this article appears in the Vietnam Integration Journal, issue 340, starting from page 3 and ending on page 17. This format aims to make it easier for readers and stakeholders to retrieve the article.

From issue 340/2024 onwards of the Vietnam Integration Journal, each article published in the journal will be assigned a DOI. When any other author/article cites a DOI article, both the cited article and the journal as a whole will be automatically recognized in the academic citation coefficient table. This is one of the strategic steps aimed at further standardizing the Vietnam Integration Journal in international integration.
