Phu Yen: Evaluation on the construction planning project of Son Thanh town

July 29, 2022: Phu Yen Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (Phu Yen Union) held a scientific workshop to evaluate the construction planning project of Son Thanh Dong town (in the future) in Tay Hoa district, Phu Yen province.

Based on the approval of the Provincial People's Committee (Document No. 2300/UBND-KGVX dated May 27, 2021) and the Department of Construction (Document No. 980/SXD-QHKT dated June 2, 2022) Phu Yen Union organized a workshop to conduct social questioning of the above project.

Members of the Board of Evaluation shared ideas for the smooth implementation of the Project (presented by a consulting firm - Vietnam Architecture, Investment and Trade Joint Stock Company) which aims at turning Son Thanh Dong town into an industrial, commercial and service center serving the agro-forestry production in the west of Tay Hoa district, and toward forming an urban center in the future where the market is closely linked with surrounding eco- agricultural communities and the local clean and high-tech agricultural production will become an appealing tourism site.

Mr. Tran Xuan Tuc - Director of Phu Yen Department of Construction (Investor and Co-chair of the workshop) shared "Phu Yen Union organized a very productive workshop which supports the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments to implement the orientation of the general planning on construction of Son Thanh Dong town (under the approved project of urban development program of Phu Yen province by 2025, vision to 2030 and the Regional Planning Project of Tay Hoa District by 2035).

In the time to come, Phu Yen Union in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Phu Yen province will organize a scientific workshop to evaluate the master plan for aquaculture development in Phu Yen province in the period of 2021-2025, oriented towards 2030.
