Promoting international cooperation in science technology with Iran
On May 30, at the headquarter of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Dr.Sc. Phan Xuan Dung, President of VUSTA, had a meeting with Mr. Mohsen Rezaeipour, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Iran in Vietnam about technology transfer and cooperation in high-technology.

Overview of the meeting
At the meeting, Mr Mohsen Rezaeipour shared the success of the Iran Expo 2025 exhibition, creating an interactive space for Iranian and Vietnamese electronic, telecommunications enterprises. On that basis, Mr Mohsen Rezaeipour expressed desire for joint venture and high technology transfer between Iran and Vietnam. According to Mr Mohsen Rezaeipour, approximately 20 medical enterprises will attend the Medi Pharm exhibition in Ho Chi Minh city from September 24 to September 28. On this occasion, the Embassy of Iran would like to partner with VUSTA on a webinar to connect with Vietnamese enterprises in the relevant industry prior to the attendance. Besides, Mr Mohsen Rezaeipour suggested organizing science and technology exhibitions across diverse sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, unmanned aerial vehicles and Nano technology.
President Phan Xuan Dung expressed VUSTA’s willingness in cooperating with the Embassy of Iran in technology science, prioritizing the webinar to connect and introduce Iranian and Vietnamese enterprises in medical, seawater desalination,... Simultaneously, VUSTA is poised to facilitate Iranian enterprises' connection with other organizations having suitable scales with the products and related offices in terms of operating exhibitions on science technology.
