The representative of Vietnamese youth shared with the UN Secretary-General

At the talk, representatives of Vietnamese youth and students shared their feelings, thoughts and practical experiences in young people's participation, Vietnamese youth in UN activities such as peacekeeping, health care, combating climate change, heritage conservation... as well as the progress of implementing sustainable development goals.

The UN Secretary-General emphasized that the young generation has a great role to play in solving common problems of today's times, which is the fight against climate change, major health challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic or shared missions in peacekeeping efforts. He urged young people: "We are facing many challenges in today's world such as epidemics, climate change or inequality. In that context there is only one way to overcome the challenge, it's about working together, and cooperating through solidarity to create strength."
