VUSTA gave approval to CSD proposed project to develop a friendship - friendly school model

Centre for Sustainable Development Studies (CSD), a VUSTA affiliated science and technology organization has joined with Japan's Asian Friendship and Education organization to carry out a series of projects “Developing a model of friendship-friendly schools” in many different communes of Bac Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces since 2010. The series of projects had a common goal to improve a spacious and friendly learning environment for students and teachers in disadvantaged areas.

In 2021, the CSD continues to implement the above said project in Khu Mo School, Ngoc Thien 1 Primary School, Ngoc Thien Commune, Tan Yen District and Zone II School, Cam Ly Primary School, Lich Son Village, Cam Ly commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province. This is actually the project number 27 and school site 31 that has been implemented and approved by VUSTA in Decision No. 331/QD-LHHVN dated April 28, 2002, with the total budget of USD 104,060. Within the framework of the project in 2021, 05 new classrooms will be built and equipped with 01 water purifier at Khu Mo school and 05 new classrooms, 01 teacher room, water closets and water well will be built up at the site of Zone II School and the project is expected to be accomplished and handed over in December 2021.

VUSTA delegation engages with Japanese science and technology partners
