Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh presented a gift to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the VUSTA to Ms. Eva-Maria. He congratulated Mrs. Eva-Maria on her successful term in Vietnam, highly appreciated her role and thanked her for the positive support that she and her team at the BftW office provided to the VUSTA. For the past eight years, since taking on the role of Head of the BftW Representative Office, Ms. Eva-Maria has selected Vietnamese partners to implement projects sponsored by BftW, more than half of which are scientific and technological organizations affiliated to VUSTA.

During the meeting, Ms. Eva-Maria thanked VUSTA for the good cooperation, supporting member organizations in implementing activities with BftW, and trusted that the new regional representative would also have close cooperation in the coming years.

Linh hopes that the cooperation between BftW and scientific and technological organizations under the VUSTA in implementing projects related to BftW's areas of operation (supporting agricultural and rural development, gender equality, improving livelihoods, protecting the environment, climate change adaptation, capacity building, supporting migrant workers...) will continue to develop in the next phase.
