CARE International in Vietnam funded the projects for ethnic minority

CARE International in Vietnam invited to submit proposals for individuals as ethnic minority, groups, organizations, workgroups or networks leaded by ethnic minority, the VNGO in the Northern mountainous regions with strategy, or experiences to support the development of the organization, the network of ethnic minority community.

The priority program areas support the construction and development of organizational capacity, networks to encourage the participation and representation of ethnic minorities; connection and providing information for the decision-making process at all levels, policy advocacy; promoting gender equality / women empowerment.

The goal of the program is that the non-governmental organizations in Vietnam (VNGO) and the community organizations of ethnic minorities will be strengthened with capacity to represent and provide information in a systematic way for decision-making processes at all levels and benefit from the participations, to share and learn with other social organizations.

The maximum budget supports a proposed project of $ 10,000 and not less than $ 6000 for a proposal. The implementation period for a proposed project is 12 months maximum.

The small Grants Program under the program to strengthen the participation of civil society in poverty reduction and sustainable development for the communities of ethnic minorities to the north (CASI) of the CARE International in Vietnam.

Deadline to submit the proposal is on August 30 th 2013.
