Binh Thuan: Workshop on "Safe consumption in digital transformation"

Attending the seminar were representatives from provincial departments, the executive committee and members of the Consumer Protection Association, a number of service providers, consumer representatives and media agencies.

Mr. Luong Thanh Son - Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations, and Mr. Dang Sy Hao - Chairman of the Provincial Consumer Protection Association and a representative of the Department of Industry and Trade co-chaired the workshop

Presentations on digital transformation of the industry and trade for industry management, consumer rights protection and the industry's digital transformation orientation in the coming period were presented at the workshop; another contents related to the cooperation of the Consumer Protection Association with the industry and trade industry in participating in communication program for safe consumers in digital transformation; digital transformation in market management, solutions to manage shoddy goods, counterfeit goods in the market and in cyberspace; information industry's support for other industries in digital transformation; information on the use of e-commerce, shopping, e-payment platforms and safe usage solutions for consumers; introduce some applications to consumers; share experiences for consumers to ensure e-commerce safety were also presented. Delegates of the workshop also discussed and clarified some risks with consumers to note, shopping skills in cyberspace.

Concluding the workshop, the Chairman of the Provincial Consumer Protection Association informed the main contents presented and discussed, in which the results of the association have provided a lot of useful information to consumers regarding safe consumption knowledge and skills in the digital transformation era, safe shopping skills in cyberspace, thereby contributing to protecting the interests of consumers in the province, at the same time, he also proposed the relevant departments to continue promoting digital transformation for socio-economic development and consumer protection.
