Typical intellectuals of Hai Duong province in 2022 are professors and associate professors who obtained degree of doctorate, level II specialist doctor, level II specialized pharmacist and many other titles such as excellent doctor, excellent teacher and some won prizes on science & technology at national, ministerial, and provincial levels in the past two years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee - Tran Duc Thang highly appreciated the contributions of Hai Duong intellectuals in historical periods; recognizing and honoring the achievements of 108 outstanding Hai Duong brilliants who have made many active and effective contributions in the research, development and application of science and technology, innovation and building Hai Duong  becoming a strong and civilized province.

Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang asked scientists to continue devoting their talent and knowledge to develop hometown, especially propose feasible solutions for the social – economic development of Hai Duong province.

Mr. Tran Duc Thang affirmed that Hai Duong province will create favorable conditions for scientists and intellectuals to work and dedicate their talents. He suggested that Party committees and authorities at all levels should pay more attention to promoting, building, developing and improving the quality of intellectuals in association ties to the province’s strategic plan of development; open platforms and channels for intellectuals to participate, give suggestions and propose guidelines and policies for socio-economic development of the province as well as scientific research and application of innovations in production and life. Sectors and authorities at all level should be interested in investing more in scientific research, technology development, and increasing the application of new technologies in industries; implementing research results into practice and promptly paying attention to encouraging, praising and rewarding collectives and individuals who own innovations in research, study and life in order to encourage the development of the emulation and innovation movement that contributes to the development of the industries, localities as well as of the whole country.

Hai Duong provincial union needs strengthening organization of scientific forum and seminars and focusing on key topics and emerging issues of the province to attract intellectuals team in consulting and proposing solutions. Provincial union gathers and promotes creative capacity of intellectuals in consulting, criticizing, policy making and implementing socio-economic development tasks of the province, said Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang.

Up to now, Hai Duong province has over 65,000 people with college degrees or higher, of which more than 45,000 are from universities, 1,500 people with master degrees, over 100 associate professor, doctor. The level of political degree of cadres and civil servants has been increasingly improved, meeting development requirements.

In the past 15 years, Hai Duong province's brilliants have actively conducted many important science and technology tasks, thereby contributing significantly to promoting socio-economic development of the province.

Also at the conference, representatives of intellectuals and scientists proposed solutions to promote the application of digital technology in agricultural production in the province and solutions to attract young intellectuals of Hai Duong province to participate in research, application of science and technology and innovation. At the same time, typical intellectuals expressed their emotions and glory when being recognized and honored and willing to devote their wisdom and enthusiasm to the socio-economic development of the province.
