Binh Thuan: Introducing a "three-in-one" solution for taking care of durian trees
A workshop on "Introduction of watering, spraying, fertilizing durian trees” was held on the morning of November 17, 2022.

The Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations organized the said seminar that called three-in-one solution for durian growers in Da Mi commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province.
At the seminar, people were introduced to specific advantages, installation and operation, installation cost, materials used, etc. Especially at the seminar, the delegates had a chance to see the irrigation system directly. The delegates exchanged specific questions such as advantages of this irrigation system compared to the previous irrigation system, how to install, how to use, investment cost for production. Workshop participants valued this new irrigation system, which meets the requirements of durian growers with the advantage of the irrigation system that has integrated many functions in one irrigation system. Three-in-one irrigation system was introduced to farmers hoping to contribute to the people's consideration of choosing an irrigation system to suit their production conditions; system (solution) won the third prize at the 9th Binh Thuan Provincial Technical Innovation Contest (2020-2021).
Da Mi commune belongs to Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province, located near the Lam Dong plateau, the climate is cool all year round, there are many majestic waterfalls with 2 large lakes formed from the Ham Thuan - Da Mi hydroelectric project; Da Mi is a locality with durian area accounting for nearly 90% of durian harvested area and durian output in the whole district. Besides, Da Mi is a land that is not only favorable in terms of climate and soil conditions for durian tree development, but also a land with beautiful natural landscapes, a land with a lot of resources and potentials. With other riches, with the attention of the province, the district and the efforts of the people, Da Mi will surely develop strongly in the coming time.
