This is the goal of the training program on enhancing professional journalism skills for journalists and editors from media agencies within the VUSTA system, held on September 28 in Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice President of VUSTA Pham Ngoc Linh emphasized the characteristics of the organization, which has nearly 70 specialized magazines, operating in all fields such as nature, society, science, and technology.
With a large and diverse media system, in recent times, the media of VUSTA has effectively carried out the task of disseminating the Vietnam Socialist Party's guidelines and policies, the government's laws, political orientation, and ideological perspectives toward intellectual science and technology.
However, according to him, in the context of changes in global media and communication activities, the development of the 4.0 industrial revolution, and other factors, the media agencies of VUSTA, which have a workforce of about 1,500 reporters and editors, are in a huge competition with other media agencies and social networking sites.

To achieve this, every journalist and editor must constantly innovate, embrace new technologies, and utilize the achievements of the Revolution to enhance their knowledge and journalistic skills," said Vice President Pham Ngoc Linh.
During the training program, Mr. Le Nghiem, former Head of the Electronic Department of People's Newspaper and vice President of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA), who has over 25 years of experience in journalism, conveyed his experience and guided attendees on the methods of collecting and verifying the accuracy of information, as well as disseminating information.
