After studying the draft of Local Education Materials for Grade 11 prepared by the province’s Department of Education and Training, the provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations formed an advisory and evaluation council and received numerous independent opinions.

During the seminar, an independently compiled report from experts, 4 presentations, and 15 opinions were discussed and approved as part of the draft of the local education materials for Grade 11. The advisory and evaluation council provided advice and made various additions to the draft, based on the inputs from experts and contributions made during the seminar.

The consensus of the opinions evaluates the materials as having several advantages. They are designed according to various cultural, historical, geographical, economic, and vocational areas of the local region, covering topics like notable historical figures in Cao Bang from the early 20th century to the present, local festivals and celebrations, the establishment and role of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee during the period of 1930 - 1945, modern short stories from Cao Bang, agricultural and economic development in Cao Bang, understanding entrepreneurial activities in Cao Bang, disease prevention in humans and animals in Cao Bang, aiming to prepare Grade 11 students with basic knowledge about cultural traditions, local potentials, advantages, and the development strategies and directions of Cao Bang Province in economic and social growth. This prepares students to choose suitable career paths after completing high school, considering each topic is clear, illustrated with images to clarify the conveyed content, and easy to remember. The materials are also deemed appropriate for the psychological and cognitive abilities of Grade 11 students.

However, according to the delegates attending the seminar, the structure of the materials is not yet reasonable. Some important local characteristics have not been adequately addressed. Additionally, some content is expressed and evaluated in a non-scientific manner, and the selection and presentation of illustrative images lack refinement.

At the conclusion of the seminar, representatives from the Department of Education and Training acknowledged the contributions of the advisory and evaluation council. They will work to revise, supplement, and improve the Local Education Materials for Grade 11 based on the received feedback, before submitting them to the Provincial People's Committee for further assessment and approval.
