Full scale charging toward the National Digital Transformation

Ha Noi, February 24, 2022, the ICT Conference 2022 – Tet Nham Dan (the year of Tiger) was held with the theme “Full scale charging toward national digital transformation”

by the Vietnam Informatics Associations in collaboration with 16 associations, and departments operating in the field of information technology organized the event. Mr. Nguyen Quyet Chien, VUSTA General Secretary Nguyen Quyet Chien was attending the event.

The President of the Vietnam E-Commerce Association and the President of the Vietnam Health Informatics Association received congratulatory flowers from the VUSTA and VIA chiefs.

This event was the chance for the domestic and foreign ITC firms to exchange, share and launch inspiring roadshows in 2022.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, VIA Vice President affirmed that this reunion of 17 associations together with their consensus, joint efforts and cooperation of national information technology and communication sectors as well as the plan on national digital transformation approved by the Party and the Government may help to create miracles in the year 2022.

Thang hoped that the to be achieved goals would set founding for the coming years so that Vietnam may fully master technology, heading to the integration into the global 4th revolution chain value and orientation to the 5th revolution in the future.

The scene of the Event

During the Event, the alliance of Information Technology – Communication Associations also welcomed the Vietnam Health Informatics Association is enlisted as the 17th member. Sharing about the achievements that the medial technology field has gained since the past year, Mr. Tran Quy Tuong – President of the Vietnam Health Informatics Association said that recently under the leadership of the Party, the Government’s attention and the direction as well as the coordination of central and local ministries, especially the effort of the Health sector, medical technology industry has been fully covered from the central to local level; building a system of legal documents to create a legal corridor and promote information technology in the health sector; building a medical information portal, publicizing prices and medical equipment nationwide.

President of the Vietnam Informatics Associations – Mr. Tran Quy Tuong delivered a speech

When the Covid-19 pandemic widespread, the health sector developed a telemedicine system with the support of Viettel Group, so far there have been more than 1,500 locations, focal points having been deployed. The health technology industry also coordinated with the Ministry of Information and Communications to promptly deploy IT applications in the prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic under the direction of the National Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

“In order to continue promoting the achievements and accelerating the digital transformation in health sector, we need to mobilize more social resources; it is necessary to have the cooperation and consensus of all levels, sectors, people and businesses”, Mr. Tuong said.

Green Forest Program to launch in 2024
To celebrate World Environment Day (June 5th), VUSTA and the Center for People and Nature (PanNature) coordinated with the local authority to hold a launching ceremony for the 2024 Green Forest Program on the morning of June 2nd (2024). The program aims to restore 10 hectares of forest in Van Ho (Son La) and 15 in Hang Kia - Pa Co Nature Reserve.
