National Digital Transformation Day

On April 22, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision No.505/QĐ-TTg on National Digital Transformation Day, October 10 annually.

2023 is the second year nationawide activities scheduled in response to the National Digital Transformation Day. In the last few years, the digital transformation mission has attracted a great deal of attention of authority at all levels as well as sectors and people.

National Digital Transformation Day is held annually with the aim of accelerate the implementation of digital transformation under the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030. The event is also raise public awareness on the role, significance and benefits of digital transformation. In addition, promoting the participation of the entire political system and a sync mechanism at all levels is crucial to ensure the success of digital transformation.

This year, the National Digital Transformation Day theme "Exploiting digital data to create value". With the purpose of closely following the direction to improve the quality of public service which priotizes users-centered model, improves the efficiency of digital data-based management and operation of leaders at all levels, and enhances the productivity of civil servants of the state agencies based on digital platform and data in order to contribute in boosting the development of economy - society and national competitiveness.

At the conference “Digital transformation and automation in developing the digital economy” held by VUSTA (May 2023), President Phan Xuan Dung believed that digital transformation is a mandatory trend to improve the efficiency of business and production, improve competitiveness and success in the strategy of building digital government, digital economy and society inFourth Industrial Revolution

Digital transformation is an emerging and challenging work, an importance and long-term strategy that requires resources mobilization for the implementation. Digital transformation task is posing great challenges that need political determination and being creative in implementation at all levels, sectors, localities and people.

VUSTA delegation engages with Japanese science and technology partners
