MESSAGE

To All Our Friends, Fellow AFEO Engineers and Guests of AFEO,

Mingalarpar,

The Patrons, Office Bearers, Executive Committee Members, Central Committee Members and the whole Fed. MES membership wish to warmly congratulate VUSTA on the occasion of the 38 thConference of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (CAFEO-38). We, the Fed. MES members, always expecting to join the CAFEO meetings, which is the venue to meet our fellow ASEAN Engineering professionals as a reunion as well as sharing experiences each other, discussing for the solutions for the common beneficial.

Due to the severity of COVID-19 Pandemic, we all loose the chance to meet personally as usual, but we notice VUSTA has prepared very well for the meetings, which will allow us to meet each other in another style of meting virtually. We expect this is just a temporary and we can resume our usual practices next year onwards.

The theme of CAFEO-38 “Fostering Initiatives and Actions by AFEO to Build a Sustainable and Prosperous ASEAN Community” is a very encouraging to all member organizations for unitedly moving forward by collectively discuss during the meetings and set the initiatives and action plans for effectively contributing us in long run. As it is no doubt that we all need to contribute, individually or collectively, for building a sustainable and prosperous ASEAN Community, we expect to see the various actions from AFEO and our member organizations after end of this year CAFEO 38 meetings.

We wish all our fellow Engineers from ASEAN community, to be healthy, safely enjoying the meetings and go abreast with new normal culture.
